We encourage citizen participation in the development of new green, edible spaces for their communities. Transforming paved spaces into lush gardens is a powerful way to make the city greener and communities healthier. We can offer:

• Expertise and assistance in creating collective gardens in school, enterprises and organisations

• Horticultural and educational activities for all ages

• Technical training workshops and horticultural follow-up

In 2008 the project was awarded with the highest environmental distinction of Quebec, the Phoenix of the Environment. In the same year the project in association with Minimum Cost Housing Group of the McGill University and the Santropol Roulant won the National prize of Urban Design of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects(CSLA). In 2012 the project  won the Mayor of Montréal’s Democracy Award for its participation in the Workgroup of Urban Agriculture.
